Yes. Browse the public gallery without an account, or create a free account to start chatting and making characters. Free accounts have a daily message allowance that resets each day.

Do I have to make a character?

Not at all. Pick a character from the community gallery and start your own conversation. You aren't stepping into somebody else's chat or inheriting their history.

What if I want to keep things private?

You can keep your characters private instead of publishing them to the gallery. Your diary is private to your account and protected by a PIN. Read our privacy policy for how your data is handled.

Is there a real person on the other end?

No. Character and diary replies are AI-generated, and AI can get things wrong. LoreLoom is for creativity and reflection, not professional advice. The platform is for adults aged 18 and over.
